From highways to roads, car parks and footpaths, we combine two decades of experience with government authority approved products to deliver road and pavement solutions to asset owners and road authorities.
Working with specialised mobile batching units and contractors including NA Group and Holcim, BluCem FSC – Fast Set Concrete, was recently approved by Transport NSW for use as a time-critical pavement replacement on NSW roads. Replacements take place in a matter of hours, not days, allowing traffic to return to service with minimal interruptions.
Work times with BluCem FSC are minutes, not hours. Our specialist contractors are highly trained to deliver quality pavements for the most complex and challenging projects. They are without a doubt the most critical component of any pavement replacement project.
There are many reasons why roads and pavements become weak and crack. These may be changes in the road’s application, drought, flooding or even just the passage of time. Whatever the case, assets need remediation. Underslab grouting is an easy and reliable method to rehabilitate slabs, (rather than excavating and replacing the entire affected area).
BluCem HE80 grout is often specified by road authorities due to its high fluidity, rapid strength gain and +100 year durability. The engineered grout not only consolidates the subbase, (creating a structurally sound subbase for the road pavement) it also ensures the surface slab remains fixed to the ground.

When steep terrain is exposed to the elements, the effect on roads and pavements over time is often unpredictable. There are, however, ways to ensure the stability of unstable ground, slopes, embankments, ground retention systems and even bridge piers.
In 2011 we also launched innovative GRP ground anchors and soil nails which have a +100 year design life, high tensile and shear strengths. At ¼ weight of steel they are easy to secure, further reducing expenses and install times.
We also supply a range of cementitious and PUR ground injection products which are designed to consolidate weak ground, loose rock, water penetration control or grout curtains. BluCem HS200 and BluRez CSW have been successfully used for these applications.

Electrical underbore grouting is used to aid in the dissipation of heat from high voltage electrical conduits. This increases the cable’s insulation properties whilst allowing for additional voltage loads to be placed on cables, creating superior cable ratings and a reduction in long term costs.
BluCem LH60 has a thermal resistivity (TR) 0.69km-w and low exothermic heat to avoid heat damage to the conduits during curing. LH60 can also be supplied in 1000kg bulk bags which allow for bulk mixing in concrete agitator trucks for improved delivery to site.

Contraction and expansion joints on roads and pavements are regularly exposed to extreme weights, vibration, movement and temperatures. To be reliable, a joint sealer must be able to not only tolerate these conditions but also provide ongoing resistance against them.
BluSeal JPress is our flexible, joint sealing solution. The JPress concrete joint sealant is made of a Santoprene™ thermoplastic profile, for the purpose of long-term sealing. The product is easily installed without the need for on-site priming and joint preparation. The easy ‘push-in’ system relies on compression to create a friction seal. This allows for a greater movement capacity than traditional liquid-applied sealants. The push-in system is also more considerate to the environment by eliminating the need for excess chemicals from packaging and clean-up activities related to traditional liquid sealants.

BluSeal QS401 is manufactured for controlled crack inducement and joint forming in parking aprons and concrete paved areas. It is introduced where a levelled groove edge is required to prevent concrete spalling caused by heavy point loading. QS401 is made from recycled high impact PVC material and incorporates a reusable aluminium joint former, which eliminates the need for saw cutting joints.
