MasterShield AKS KNB is a high-performance HDPE concrete protection membrane designed to provide long-term corrosion protection for concrete structures exposed to aggressive chemical environments.

Formerly known as BluSeal AKS, MasterShield AKS KNB has a proven track record protecting tunnel, wastewater, industrial and underground infrastructure assets throughout Australia and New Zealand. The system comprises a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheet with integrally moulded anchors, designed to be cast directly into concrete to form a durable, flexible and chemically resistant protective lining.

Installed as a fully welded and sealed system, MasterShield AKS KNB provides exceptional resistance to chemical attack while delivering a design life exceeding 100 years in some of the industry’s most demanding applications. The system can be incorporated into new concrete structures or retrofitted onto existing assets using compatible Master Builders Solutions grouting systems.
