Bluey Technologies recently supported the waterproofing of the basement for a high-end residential development in Kirribilli, where a leak-free outcome was critical. Working closely with the project team, Bluey provided engineering input and technical support to our approved contractor to ensure the system met design requirements and delivered long-term performance.
During the design phase, Bluey worked with the project architect to assess waterproofing options. A drained system was selected as the most effective approach, utilising the BluSeal PVC Tunnel Liner. This fully welded membrane system is designed to form a continuous waterproofing barrier, managing water ingress while protecting the structure over its service life.
Originally developed for large-scale tunnel infrastructure, BluSeal PVC Tunnel Liner is engineered to meet international waterproofing standards and is well-suited to complex basement applications. Supplied in a range of thicknesses to suit performance requirements, the membrane is installed as a fully sealed system, with sheets welded together to ensure continuity and reliability.
The flexibility of the PVC membrane allows it to conform to varying surface profiles and complex geometries, supporting efficient installation without compromising performance. Its weldability also enables practical application in confined or detailed areas, helping reduce installation time and improve overall constructability.
Delivered by Bluey’s approved contractor, the system was installed safely, efficiently, and in line with the project programme. Backed by practical experience and hands-on support, Bluey continues to partner with clients to deliver reliable waterproofing outcomes across a range of construction environments.
